Engineering Excellence
The H2A1/M2A1 Ammunition Box is the result of applying NATO STANAG precision manufacturing standards to a product purpose-built for the operational realities of India’s armed forces. Each box is fabricated from high-strength defence-grade steel, seam-welded for hermetic integrity, powder-coated in Olive Drab to military specification, and validated through all five NATO-standard quality tests before dispatch.
Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified conditions at our Govindpura, Bhopal facility, the H2A1 designation serves Indian Army procurement requirements while the M2A1 designation serves NATO-aligned international export requirements — both products manufactured to the identical specification.
Available for Indian Army, CAPF, OEM integration, and international export.

Engineering Design Highlights
The engineering features that differentiate the H2A1 / M2A1 Ammunition Box as a mission-ready defence component built for operational reliability across all environments.
How To Use — Step-by-Step
Operational guidance for field personnel, logistics operators, and armourers responsible for the handling, use, and maintenance of the H2A1 / M2A1 Ammunition Box.
Inspect the box for visible damage to body, lid, seals, latches, and handle. Verify both latches operate freely and lid opens and closes correctly. Do not use a box with compromised seals or structural damage.
Load specified ammunition in correct orientation per ammunition manufacturer guidance. Do not exceed rated capacity of 200 rounds. Ensure linked belt is correctly arranged.
Lower lid firmly and engage both latches in sequence. Verify both latches are fully engaged. Label box with contents, lot number, and date per unit SOP.
Carry using fold-flat handle. Stack boxes in NATO-standard orientation on vehicle racks, depot shelving, or in Carrier 6A units. Secure against movement during transport.
Store in cool, dry conditions away from direct heat sources and chemicals. Inspect seals and latches periodically during extended storage.
After ammunition is expended, clean interior of powder residue and moisture. Close and latch for return to depot. Boxes are reusable across multiple operational cycles.
Deployed Across Operations
The H2A1 / M2A1 Ammunition Box is deployed across a wide range of operational and institutional contexts, serving armed forces, paramilitary, and OEM customers across India and internationally.
Operational Example
FORWARD AREA RESUPPLY: During a large-scale field exercise, a forward infantry company requires 4,000 rounds of 7.62mm linked ammunition delivered to a forward operating base. Twenty H2A1 boxes are loaded at the brigade ordnance point, placed into four Carrier 6A units, and transported by logistics vehicle to the forward area. The hermetically sealed boxes arrive with full ammunition condition integrity despite road movement, dust exposure, and temperature variation. All latches remain secure throughout transport. At the forward position, boxes are opened and ammunition is immediately available for weapon loading — no quality compromise, no operational delay.
